The Plateforme Canadienne de formation à distance (Canadian distance learning platform) offers you :
- free courses in French,
- on your own schedule,
- with the support of a local facilitator.
More than 50 courses, divided into 3 subjects, are already online!
French in a few clicks
The French course is divided into 3 levels, with grammar notions ranging from the simplest to the most complex. The course is based on a variety of exercises, videos and evaluation activities to help you improve.
Mathematics
Basic math concepts are presented in an easy-to-understand way, with plenty of practical exercises to help you improve. There are modules on topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and mathematical problem solving.
IT and IT security
Several topics are covered to help you feel comfortable and safe using the computer and various computer programs.
Admission
To take a course, you must…
- speak French;
- be at least 19 years old,
- reside in Nunavut,
- access to a computer connected to the Internet

Registration
Fill out the registration form or send an e-mail to education@afnunavut.ca or call 867-979-4606.
Discussion
Wait for a call from a PCF@D facilitator. Together, you’ll complete your registration and discuss your training needs.
Knowledge evaluation
Complete the knowledge evaluation assigned to you.
Course selection
Consult your knowledge evaluation reports and choose your courses with the help of your facilitator.
Training
Access your courses from your online account and start your training.
