Workshop: Inclusive writing

Description: The workshop is an introduction to the practices of what is commonly known as inclusive writing or gender-neutral writing, i.e. the expression of gender in language. Societies and our conception of gender roles have come a long way since grammatical gender was defined in French. Just as certain words can become outdated, the rule that masculine gender prevails over feminine no longer has a place in 2025. But how can we do it better, without making mistakes? This workshop is for people who work in French, in the community, communications, journalism, teaching and more!
