Wilderness first aid

Description: A 20-hour course that provides participants with an introduction to wilderness first aid, with an emphasis on practical skills, decision-making and managing environmental conditions. This program is specifically designed to cover medical emergencies in remote areas beyond the reach of emergency medical services.

Schedule: Friday, November 3: 1800 to 2100
Saturday, November 4: 0900 to 1700
Sunday, November 5: 0900 to 1700
Monday, November 6: 1800 to 2100
Location: École des Trois-Soleils

Cost: Free of charge. Priority registration is given to parents, as the course is offered through a partnership with Regroupement des parents francophones du Nunavut (RPFN).
