French as a second language courses, beginner level (3 and 4)

This course is intended for people with a basic knowledge of French who wish to improve their French for general purposes. The course focuses on the basics of oral communication based on real-life situations in a Nordic context. Our teaching approach is based on oral participation in a friendly environment.

For the beginner 3 group: you will learn to:

-talk about daily activities (shopping, describing a simple medical problem), body parts, clothing, housing, vocabulary for enjoyable moments and travel, asking for help in everyday life.

-learn to conjugate more verbs in the present, near future, and recent past tenses, and make comparisons.

For the beginner 4 group:

– look for a job, describe housing, ask about housing, talk about your vacation, what you have done recently, talk about a health problem, buy, return or exchange an item, give instructions for an activity.
– discover the past and the future, learn concepts related to time.

Requirement: Beginner 1-2

Date: Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., for 10 weeks
From January 27th to March 31st (15 hours of class).
