French as a Second Language Classes, Beginner Level (1 and 2)

This course is designed for people with little or no knowledge of French who wish to learn French for general purposes. The course focuses on the basics of oral communication using real-life situations in a Nordic context. Our teaching approach is based on oral participation in a friendly environment.

For the Beginners 1 group, you will learn to:

– greet someone – introduce yourself – tell and ask for the time and date – understand simple instructions – recognize the sounds of the French alphabet – use common verbs – name everyday objects – talk about Nordic activities.

For the Beginners 2 group:

– talk about yourself and a family member – introduce yourself – introduce someone else – describe a person or an object – ask for directions –

Prerequisites: none

Dates: Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., for 10 weeks, excluding holidays

From September 14 to November 23 (15 class hours).
