French as a Second Language Course, Beginner Level 3-4

This course is designed for people with a basic knowledge of French who wish to improve their French for general purposes. The course focuses on the fundamentals of oral communication using real-life situations in a Nordic context. Our teaching approach is based on active participation in a friendly environment.
For the Beginner 3 group: you will learn to:
-talk about daily activities (shopping, describing a simple medical issue), body parts, clothing, housing, vocabulary for leisure activities and travel, and asking for help in everyday life.
– learn to conjugate more verbs in the present, near future, and recent past tenses, and make comparisons.
For the Beginner 4 group:
-look for a job, describe housing, inquire about housing, talk about your vacation, what you’ve done recently, discuss a health issue, buy, return, or exchange an item, give instructions for an activity.
– explore the past and future tenses, learn concepts related to time.
Prerequisite: Beginner 1-2
Date: Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for 6 weeks
April 22 to May 27 (9 class hours).
