French as a second language, beginner level (1 and 2)

This course is designed for people with little or no knowledge of French who wish to learn the language for general purposes. The course focuses on the basics of spoken communication using real-life situations in a Nordic context. Our teaching approach is based on active participation in a friendly environment.
For the Beginner 1 group: you will learn to:
– greet someone – introduce yourself – tell and ask for the time and date – understand simple instructions – recognize the sounds of the French alphabet – use common verbs – name everyday objects – talk about Nordic activities.
For the Beginner 2 group:
– talk about yourself and a family member – introduce yourself – introduce someone else – describe a person or an object – ask for directions –

Dates: Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for 6 weeks
April 20 to May 25 (9 class hours).
